His white Ford Pinto was spotted by a local in a creek in Cusseta and they informed the authorities. Officials from Troup County, Georgia and Chambers County, and Alabama announced that the car belonged to Kyle Clinkscales.

An official obituary was never released for Kyle as his body was never found. The recent discovery has shifted the case into the limelight once again.

Kyle CLinkscales’ car has been found missing since 1976. After 45 years, police finally found his Ford Pinto in a creek in Cusseta, Alabama.
They found his wallet with his ID and credit cards- there were also bones, but we will have to wait until the authorities confirm the bones found belong to Clinkscales.

The discovery of his car might not be a huge achievement after all these years, but the authorities did try their best to find anything related to the case. They drained lakes, looked everywhere for the young man but all were in vain.
Unfortunately, Clinkscales’ parents could not witness the discovery as his mother passed away in January this year. His father died in 2007. We have no information regarding his living relatives for now.
