Biography of Ty Pennington
Gary Tygert Burton’s parents welcomed him on October 19, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Shortly after Ty arrived, his mother (Yvonne Burton) abandoned her husband and left with Ty and his older brother, Wynn Burton. After his marriage, Ty and Wynn were taken in as adopted sons and their nickname from “Burton” was changed to Pennington (their stepfather’s name).

For more than a decade, he has had a sincere and worthwhile relationship with his longtime lover, Andrea Bock. In 2008, Ty told reporters he had been dating Bock for eleven years and they were happily together.
For the couple, loving each other is the most important thing to get married and getting official marriage status is not so necessary. Hence, the reason why they love and live life to the fullest. Andre and Ty’s relationship has yet to produce any children. Although it seems that they are not ready for children, their fans are seriously hoping that they will soon have children of their own.
Pennington isn’t gay, he’s straight. In fact, he never gave his fans any reason to question his sexuality. He lives with a woman and both are happy to have found each other.
