LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Mark Blankenship, the business partner of former Death Row Records head Marion “Suge” Knight, has pleaded no contest to selling sealed video evidence from his murder trial, according to The Associated Press.

Blankenship entered a plea Wednesday to a count of conspiracy to obstruct justice.

Prosecutors say Blankenship and Knight’s girlfriend, Toi-Lin Kelly, arranged to sell surveillance video shot outside Compton restaurant Tam’s Burgers, which captured Knight running over two men, Cle “Bone” Sloan and Terry Carter, with his truck back in 2015. Carter later died from his injuries.

TMZ bought the video for $55,000 after a judge in Knight’s murder case had barred its public release, reports the AP.

Blankenship was reportedly sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay $55,000 in restitution to Tam’s Burgers. Kelly, who pleaded no contest to conspiracy in 2017, received probation and community service.

Knight is currently serving a 28-year sentence after pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter.
