If you’re wondering whether Party Animals is crossplay, you’ve come to the right place. Of course you’d want to know whether you’ll be able to play this game with friends that are on other platforms; after all, that’s kinda the whole point of Party Animals. In this guide, we will discuss whether you’ll be able to enjoy crossplay, as well as which platforms the game will be on at launch. Let’s go!
Does Party Animals Have Crossplay
Yes, Party Animals will have crossplay from the very beginning. That is to say, you’ll be able to team up and/or play against people regardless of their platform on launch (which is on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023). Reminder, Party Animals will only be available on PC and Xbox One and Series S/X at the beginning. Apparently, the developers are working to port the game on other platforms (like PS4 and PS5), but for now, we don’t have any details on it. We have no idea whether these ports will also have crossplay enabled. I’d imagine yes, considering the nature of the game, but these things can get complicated. But if you’re on PC or any version of Xbox, new-gen or old-gen, you’ll be able to play with everyone else.

As for cross-progression, there’s no information on that at all. For those of you that don’t know what that is, it’s whether the game transfers progress from one platform to another. If say, you normally play on PC but want to switch to Xbox, a game that supports cross-progression will let you keep all of your progress. So, will Party Animals have cross-progression? I’d say probably yes, especially if you’re using Game Pass, but we just can’t say for certain. We’ll be sure to update you once we have information. Until then, we’ll be enjoying the adorable escapades right along with you. I’m going to be the corgi.
