JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Johnstown resident Ron Esposito is using his wife's death to warn others about the dangers of pools, and those dangers include more than drownings. After three children, 11 grandchildren and almost 49 years of marriage, Ron watched his wife, Jean, die as their above-ground swimming pool collapsed. "That's where she was at when I saw her, over beside those rugs," Esposito said. On May 30, Kathleen Esposito, who was known to her friends and family as Jean, was killed while trying to drain excess water out of her above-ground pool.
