JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — The Heritage Discovery Center in Johnstown has reopened its doors after being closed during the pandemic.
Some of the museums are open, so visitors have a chance to get out of the house and learn some history.
Masks are encouraged and there are handing washing stations throughout the museum.
The Children's Museum will remain closed, staff says, because of the hands-on learning experiences, it would be too risky and difficult to keep sanitized.
Instead, the Discovery Center will have activities for kids to do outside, in place of the Children’s Museum.
Staff says that there is no set date for when the Children’s Museum will reopen.
